Pulse Theatre is a new acting school that brings a professional level of acting education to children.  We will help your children learn something about healthy and safe ways of expressing themselves, guide them in exploring the possibilities of stage creation and introduce to them the basics of essential stage concepts trough voice, movement and improvisation work. The goal is to prepare a show and present it at the end of our course. The training includes a lot of games and improvisations and the basics of stage language. Depending on the program we also teach different forms of stage expression like shadow theatre, puppetry, expressive stage movement and mime. Classes are led by professional actors experienced in working with young people, and are limited to a maximum of 15 students.

  SKILLS to be developed: Storytelling; Improvisation; Character work; Focus and concentration; Voice and stage movement skills; Cooperation and communication; Self-confidence; Social skills; Team work;

  Drama is not just an art form. It has been used as an educational skill since the ancient times. It develops children’s creativity and imagination, and gives them the tools to explore the expressive world of art. Every child has more artistic talent than meets the eye and it has been our duty and privilege to help them realize their own potential.

The classes for 2009/2010 will be held on Thursday evenings, from 6.45- 8.15 pm, in Eatonville Library, 430 Burnhamthorpe Rd. (Burnhamthorpe & East Mall).

  You can order your sign-up form by e-mailing us on info@pulsetheatre.com.
